C'mon guys... its been a long time... let there be a big restart...
RHANTA!! let the health bars work... Smile)

like
200 HP =rank S
100HP =rank A
75 rank B
70 rank C
65 rank D
60 rank E
50 rank F

if the reciever of the hit has an armor lets say... armor +12(let this be the highest armor rate) and the damage dealt was 40(let this be the highest damage)
let it be solved like 40/6 +2
40 is the damage
6 comes from 12/2 (12 is the armor)
+2 is just a + 2 to everything...
when answers from a calculator is something like 8.5 just round it off...


for the MP...

1000 for rank S i guess?
700 for A
500 for B
400 C
300 D
200 E
100 F (its low because MP needed for their skills doesn't require much yet)

for MP draining skills, maximum must be be 70(70 for rank S, 50 for rank A, 40 for B,30 for C,25 for D,20 for E,10 for F) per day(per day is a 24 hours basis on real life)...
an instant skill for draining MP must be 20... can only be used 3 times a day without a turn basis... cannot be blocked
no post editing and no double posting...

blocking MP skills with armor must have this formula
let your MP armor(different with HP armor, this can be a skill/ability) a +6(max for MP armor) and lets say that the draining skill is a max 50 per day...
the formula will be
50/3 +9
50 from the damage
3 from the armor +6
+9 for a sustainable value...


for the skills and abilities

how about 10 of each... whenever there's something new, we need to UNLEARN 1...
then whenever the skill needs an upgrade or so, the character must UNLEARN 1 then do an upgrade to the other...

so like rank F gets 10(as starting skills/abilities) when he upgrades 1, only 9 will be left... and so on...(catalyst for skills like light/darkness/daggers/bullets/ice/fire doesn't need to be forgotten) shapeshifters too... must only transform into 10 formations. an upgrade to a formation will cause it to forget 1 formation...

and also a new class... something to be called like (academic) and doesn't forgot skills but store them instead and can be reused again...

a new class... inventor class, the one like Acid Burn abilities... can create almost everything through engineering and help from light and dark masters...

just some ideas thou... Smile

I agree with MP usage points, but not the HP. HP should be common sense. If you have a damaged chest, would you be able to breath properly? Do you need to know that you are in dire danger? Also, the RPing seems godmodded by people doing this:

I kick him in the gut

It's godmodding because it stated that you already kicked him without the proper reaction from your opponent. A proper one would be like so:

I attempted to kick him in the gut

That would leave the opponent the window to either block,evade or receive. Another problem we have is the evasion and block. NO one here likes to get hit but let's face it. You cannot keep evading! Make it common sense here, your character is not a god that it has the ultimate stamina to block and evade forever. You will only irritate your foe. Keep it sensible, if you've been attacked by surprise, get hit or at least attempt to block.

Skills and Techniques will be monitored. It does not need to be that way, Crashoverride. There will be a tree, every rank up a player would create his or her own tree. I will explain later if Rhanta approves.

arakun, I know you're an IT, make a tosscoin program... and let there be a counter of how many times you tossed it... let the counter be invisible and only in the code(so people will think otherwise when cheating)... upload it somewhere, log in in the same acount name as here...(then link the picture of the coin here, whether facing up or down) then evasion problems will be solved... thou it's only 50% chance to dodge... let that be the highest... for lower chance to dodge, a dice program... 40%dodge will be dodge if the dots faced up is 3, 4, 5, 6... if 30% let it be 4, 5 and 6. for 20% 5 and 6, for 10% 6 only... that would be a fair dodge...

OOOOORRRR

i can make another formula and stick to its fairness and not chance? but that wont be "evading/dodging" at all... Neutral

i don't like to rely on a dice system kasi i've read na it can be used to cheat kasi. if you've found a way to make it uncheatable, then we can be able to talk about the MP and HP system na.

i told you... to make it UNcheatable, let there be a counter in the bottom of the dice on how many times it was rolled in that hour by that computer(ip address) arakun can do that...
and let it show that if it was rolled once(let 4 face up) let there be

r1 =4

if 6 faced up on 2nd roll

r2 =6

like that...

You mean skills and techs, yes? So, 10 techs and skills and to upgrade them we delete some other skill/tech for it.. I don't like it.

How about we keep skills and techs at max of 3-ish Upgrades will come on rank ups. Too much techs is bad. We need to make rank F look like lowbies lol.

Oh and the "Classes" here on CS is not of that kind so.. yeah.

Okay for the Abilities.. Some powers need techs for usage and some will not.
example:
A Fire Elementalist -> make techs. MP cost will be determined by the effect and user's rank.
An Improviser with Superhuman Strength -> no techs but to use his power he must still use his MP. And on rank ups the strength and MP cost in increase.

And i think the dice system is too much. It's not fun when your faith is decided by a dice roll or when someone cheats.. So what if we follow the rules? that works.

so we need to decide rin which Classes and Abilities need MP costs and which one needs to make techies na MP exclusive. Vio, is it alright if you try and find a way to make this possible? o_O

I'm also thinking of this:
We all start without powers. We gain our power during our first/second rank-up. And we don't get to choose--it's more of random. We'll be given a "personality test" tas that test determines the ability that's going to be granted sa atin.
I'm alright with making a prototype of the personality test. But I want a sense of excitement rin kasi for the game--para maging mas fair ung abilities, we all get random powers that fit our character's personality.

We have Equipment Points na macconsume whenever we equip items/weapons (it acts like inventory), so we'll be wary of the stuff we carry rin.

Reward Points are rewarded sa quests so it can be used to purchase weapons/items.

Also, sa creation ng character natin, we get one weapon specialization. That way, weapon-focused techies and abilities get focused on that weapon lang. the other weapons we use are normal weapons.

Read the pm I sent you kasi the story's explained there. The basic story will be posted/commented by Grim.

To Rank Up, we need: a certain post count, a training post, and a "rank up" battle.

We also need alot of monsters. And npc's. Lots of them.

this sounds as a good plan guys. nice. Rhanta's right, each character gains their powers by their persona. So metaphorically there's like an IQ test or a NATest.
