Ability:the Blood Orb is a powerful object, Akasha's lost treasure. It can:
*Turn anyone who is wounded, weakened , dazed or unconscious into a Vampire by shooting a beam of energy.
*Causes a wild incoherent madness to any one who is not a Vampire that touches it
*Provide superior regeneration to the wielder
*Has malign sentience
*It levitates and moves on its own
*Increases Vampire Abilities by 15%

History: In the most ancient days, Akasha was a mortal queen of a region. In her youth, she called forth Kailiman, a sorcerer of unspeakable evil. However, he was powerless against the Queen of Kemet (now the desert region) and her armies of khopesh wielding thugs. She ordered him to summon a spirit: Amel the Blood Thief. Kailiman did, but the spirit broke loose of him and melded with the Queen. Thus she became the first Vampire, created from combination of blood thirsty spirit and power-hungry queen. She slew her army, and turned them into Vampires. Kailiman was not given the pleasure of immortality. Instead, wishing to cause more damage and aid the Queen of Vampires, he boiled himself in a huge iron pot. After the screaming had subsided and the stench of boiled meat had passed, Enkil, second vampire took out the Blood Orb. After Akasha was discorporated and Kemet crushed, The orb hid itself, awaiting her return.
