It is a thin, but very sharp sword. It has the ability to absorb light and shadow depending on Angelus.

As light: it absorbs light or “energy” from Angelus.

• It may burst “light” explosions in a slice of the sword called "Medulla Fulmine"

,

• sends out orb-like lights called "Fragor Orbis" that once it hits any surface or creature, it explodes.
  

• "Scutum Lucis" is a shield of light coming from the sword once Angelus is in defense position

As dark: it absorbs and shadow or rage from Angelus.

• It may turn what ever it hits into ashes (causes burning effect, lasts for 3 turns.) called "Umbra Ardeat"

• It has the ability to send a thousand ultra sharp shadow needles that is fatal to what ever it hits. also known as the "Umbra Acus"

• It is covered up with shadow to protect the sword from being destroyed easily.

Ability: It only turns dark once it has absorbed the rage of Angelus Mortis, giving her the ability of a killing spree. But when Angelus Mortis is calm or either way not, she has the ability to use both elements.

History: It was once known as Tenebrarum Gladio (sword of darkness). It was given to her by Death. But once she realizes the beauty of light and peace and leaves Death, bringing the sword with her...

When in the care of Cask, the God of Light, tried to destroy the darkness of the sword but did not fully succeed. But it was enough. It has the ability to absorb what Angelus Mortis felt was wrong or right (or the good or bad). It was now called Gladio Quo Debeat.

It turns what it hits into ashes: works with monsters and attacks from monsters of your Rank.

oh sure. but causing burning effect, is it possible for those higher than me?

well it has a minimal possibility towrds ranks that are higher than yours... but since the dark is being weakend then it is fine. It is just the good typing stuff that will make your hit a score.
